National Vision Human Resource Business Partner in Duluth, Georgia

National Vision is currently hiring for a Human Resource Business Partner!

The role serves as the strategic partner to Business Leaders (Regional VPs & District Managers) in the areas of succession planning, talent development, performance feedback, engagement, and People Team programs and initiatives. This position is an analyst of company data and processes, an advocate for change when needed, and plays a critical role in the organization's ability to attract, retain and develop high performing associates.

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

  • Works closely with the Retail Regional and District management team, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of talent and employee related issues.

  • Understands company reporting resources and analyzes information effectively to influence decisions made by Regional Leadership in the area of People Team (HR) programs, processes, and initiatives.

  • Works with People Team leaders to drive key People Team processes and initiatives throughout the field and provides information to HR Leaders based on feedback from the business.

  • Drives and facilitates the succession planning process in partnership with the Regional Directors and Regional VPs to identify high potential talent and build a strategic plan to support the growth of the business.

  • Leads, collaborates and/or contributes to projects with other People Team members or cross functionally in support of the People Team’s strategic goals.

  • Identifies current trends, policies and reporting to make recommendations on improvements to the workplace in sync with National Vision’s mission, vision and values.

  • Participates in the development, facilitation and/or presentation of training for field leadership in small group settings, seminar formats or at regional/conference meetings.

  • Travels to markets with business leaders to understand day to day operational challenges that can be positively impacted by People Team programs and initiatives. After identifying opportunities, the PTBP plays key role in ensuring field receives training & support.

Work Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in a variety of Human Resources roles with increasing responsibilities (Required)

  • Experience should include combination of Employee Relations, Compensation, Training, and /or Recruiting (Required)

  • Ability to assess organizational systems and structures, business strategies, and informed about emerging industry trends (Required)

  • Excellent track record of success partnering with management, serving as a credible and trusted resource (Required)

  • Ability to implement short and long-term human resource/change management initiatives (Required)

  • Experience preferred in HR role supporting large hourly workforce operating in a geographically matrixed organization (Required)

Education

  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience. (Required)

Licenses, Certifications, Professional Affiliations

  • PHR/SHRM Certification (Preferred)
